Džamije Gora - Mlike

Ljudi kažu da je jedna od najstarijih džamija na Balkanu u selo Mlike, region Gora, Kosovo.
Džamija je izgrađena 1289. po Gregorijanskom kalendaru  ( sefer 688. po hidžri ) a obnovljena ( dograđena ) od strane Ahmet age 1822. po Gregorijanskom kalendaru ( 1238. po Hidžri ).

Ovu činjenicu dokazuje spomen ploča koja je napisana na arapskom jeziku.

Džamija je tri puta spaljivana i svaki put je ponovo renovirana na istom mestu.
Džamiju su izgradili muslimani pre dolaska Turaka na Balkan, za potrebe karavana koji su išli do Dubrovnika i ostalih primorskih gradova.
U dvorištu džamije je mezarluk sa nadgrobnim spomenicima koji datiraju iz pre turskog perioda.
Postoje i dva groba, vojnika iz Sirije, i na tom mestu je nekoliko puta građeno turbe, ali se uvek rušilo ( danju su ga seljani gradili a noću se turbe samo sruši,i posle nekoliko takvih pokušaja seljani su odustali od gradnje ).

Mosque in the region of Gora - Mlike

People say that one of the oldest mosques in the Balkans in the village Mlike, Gora region, Kosovo.
The mosque was built in 1289th the Gregorian calendar (688th Sefer AH) and reconstructed (expanded) by Ahmet aga 1822nd the Gregorian calendar (1238th AH).

This fact proves the memorial plaque that was written in Arabic.

The mosque was burned three times and each time was again restored to the same place.
The mosque was built by Muslims before the arrival of the Turks in the Balkans, for the caravans that went to Dubrovnik and other coastal towns.

In the courtyard of the mosque is a cemetery with tombstones dating from before the Ottoman period.
There are two graves, soldiers from Syria, and in this place several times a built turbe, but always falling down (during the day it was built by the villagers and at night turbe just collapsed, and after several such attempts villagers to abandon the building).
